The processing shed is an essential part of our great leap to revive ancient agricultural practices and develop an Indigenous-led native grain industry.

Since time began, traditional agricultural practices worked in har­mo­ny with the land, pro­viding for Indigenous Australians and caring for Coun­try. Colonialism forced these practices to be abandoned and the industrial food sys­tem has since seri­ous­ly degrad­ed the envi­ron­ment, Culture and Country. 

Black Duck Foods is an Aboriginal social enterprise committed to reviving and transforming these ancient practices.

The creation of an Indigenous-led native grain industry will deliver meaningful and lasting employment opportunities, socio-economic growth, and lasting Cultural benefits to Indigenous people. 

Additionally, it will create biodiverse grassland systems that restore the environment and care for Country.
